Nanofiction
Nanofiction
A term coined for the fluff text that often accompanies trading cards, roleplay books and other similar things.
Nanofiction is characterised by its extremely limited word count which is usually 55 words or less and usually encompasses the basic elements of fiction.
This kind of writing style is best used for idea practice and to hone one’s imagination and some authors will write a whole series of nanofictions based on a unified theme.
According to the great human knowledge base known as Wikipedia, the term was coined by role-play game designer R. Sean Borgstrom.
